Associate Pastor

FULL TIME / 5+ YEARS EXPERIENCE

Key Responsibilities:

  • Discipleship: oversee our small group ministry and bible studies including leader development and training, leader appreciation, mentoring

  • Pastoral Care: Assist with pastoral care through hospital visitations, Biblical counseling, weddings, baptisms, and funeral/memorial services.

  • Growth Track: Oversee the guest experience from the moment a guest walks into our doors to getting them plugged into ministry

  • Preaching / Teaching: Be part of the preaching team. Regular teaching opportunities in Bible studies and events.

  • Administration: Oversee our church management software, order supplies, schedule volunteers

  • Community: Get involved with our community and identify needs in our city.

 

What a Strong Candidate Would Look Like:

  • Agrees with the vision and values of AFA and agrees with the Assemblies of God 16 fundamental truths

  • Excellent communicator both verbally and written

  • Gifted in teaching, leadership, and administration

  • Ability to multitask while engaging with people pastorally

  • Has at least 5 years of ministry experience

  • Strong volunteer management experience

  • Strong work ethic

  • Be a great team player

  • Tech skills

Worship Pastor

FULL TIME or PART TIME

Key Responsibilities:

  • Worship Experience: Oversee Sunday morning worship experience and special event worship. Schedule and coordinate worship teams. Lead practices, develop and train musicians and singers.

  • Tech Team: Schedule and coordinate tech team. Find volunteers and provide training.

  • Discipleship: Mentor worship and tech volunteers. Provide pastoral care for the team and leadership development. Instilling a standard of excellence and a spiritual intensity in the worship team.

  • Creative Projects: Oversee the development of creative arts projects that enhance the aesthetics, storytelling, and impact of the worship services.

  • Gifted in leadership and administration
