kids Pastor

FULL TIME / 3+ YEARS EXPERIENCE

Key Responsibilities:

• Discipleship: Equip children and families to grow in faith through intentional teaching, environments, and missions involvement.

• Administrative: Provide organized leadership through planning, budgeting, scheduling, and systems that support a healthy children’s ministry.

• Communication: Build strong relationships with parents and families through clear, consistent communication and helpful resources.

• Volunteers: Recruit, train, and empower a strong team of leaders to serve effectively across all areas of Kids Ministry.

• Outreach: Engage children and families inside and outside the church through intentional outreach, events, and community connection.

What a Strong Candidate Would Look Like:

• Has a heart for kids and families

• Gifted in bringing the Bible to life for kids

• Has at least 3 years of ministry experience

• Volunteer management experience

• Strong work ethic

• Be a great team player

• Creative

• Agrees with the vision and values of AFA and agrees with the Assemblies of God 16 fundamental truths
